The mission of St. Eulalia Pro-Life Committee is to conduct an ongoing effort to educate the Faithful beginning at the parish level regarding their responsibility to help bring about an end to abortion and expanding this effort via cooperation with other local and national Pro-Life Groups.
"Any country that accepts abortion, is not teaching its people to love, but to use any violence to get what it wants." – Mother Teresa
In order to accomplish the mission of the committee, our focus will include four (4) basic efforts:
1. Provide pastoral care to those who have had abortions for the purpose of reconciliation with the Church
2. Provide referrals to those who are currently pregnant and in need for help
3. Educate the Faithful regarding the Church’s position on abortion, stem-cell research, and euthanasia
4. Lobby state and national political officials who have influence over the issues of abortion, stem-cell research, and euthanasia
