Whats Happening & What is it?

We are about to leave Lent and enter the liturgical season known as "Triduum."  Sundown on Holy Thursday to sundown on Easter Sunday is considered the most solemn part of the liturgical year.  This three-day period is referred to as the Easter Triduum, also known as the Sacred Triduum, or Paschal Triduum.

Holy Thursday - The Lord's Supper
9am - Holy Thursday Sung Morning Prayer
7:30pm- Liturgy of the Lord's Supper, Washing of the Feet, Eucharistic Procession.
10pm- Sung Night Prayer followed by the stripping of the Altar

Good Friday - Veneration of the Cross
9am- Good Friday Sung Morning Prayer
3pm- 'Way of the Cross' Perfromance
7:30pm- Liturgy of the Lords Passion, Veneration of the Cross

Holy Saturday and Easter Vigil - The Mother of all Vigils
9am- Holy Saturday Sung Morning Prayer
7:30pm- Easter Vigil, Lighting of candle's, Paschal candle
